Each band is individually made using paper taken from a pre-loved copy of the book you choose and is then finished with several coats of waterproof varnish to strengthen it and add water resistance and finally neatly finished on the inside with grosgrain ribbon. 
It will come carefully wrapped together with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the book used.
