Origami roses have been set on to Victorian Gothic style black settings and to complete the look hang from gunmetal coloured earring findings. The earrings have a drop of approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch).
The paper roses have been given several coats of waterproof varnish to add strength, durability and water resistance.
