Introduction
Winnie-the-Pooh, the honey-loving bear created by A.A. Milne, has been loved ever since his first appearence in 1926. His adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood, are fun but also teach important life lessons. Winnie-the-Pooh started as a night-time story for the authors son and his favourite toys are the characters. Together they solve problems, learn about eachother and have fun.

In today's busy world a visit to the One Hundred Acre Wood reminds us of the importance of sometimes stopping to enjoy the simple things of life. This is one of the things Pooh teaches us. Pooh is open to the world around him and all that it offers him. He lives in the here and now using all his senses to enjoy it a mindful way. His carefree attitude encourages us to appreciate the beauty in the ordinary, making each moment feel special. These stories have always had a special place in my heart from when I was introduced to them on my 4th birthday. I named my favourite teddy Pooh Bear and handed the love of these tales down to my daughter and my grandchildren.
