Above is my first attempt at a video and shows me folding a sweet pea flower from a 2 inch square piece of paper.
What did I learn? Apart from the fact that making a video isn't quite as hard as I thought?
HOW LONG IT TAKES ME TO FOLD EACH FLOWER!!!!
I tend to just sit and fold when watching TV so never thought about this until this video initially came in at just over 4 1/2 minutes.
For ONE flower.
And that's before I fold at least one more to make a pair of earrings though some pairs need four individually folded flowers such as these Fuchsia earrings.
These are made of four flowers which are varnished invidividually before being stuck together prior to the complete earring being assembled. That means 25 minutes work before I even begin to make the flowers into earrings.
So how long to make a pair of earrings? Typically 50 minutes.
